CCPS recognized six standout staff members during the 2026 CCPS Greatness Awards, highlighting individuals who make a daily impact across the district.

“Whether through leadership, service, innovation, or support, each honoree represents the very best of Clark County Public Schools,” Assistant Superintendent Kelly Fithen said. “These awards aren't just about achievements. They're about character, commitment, and a shared belief that greatness lives in the daily choices that we make to uplift others and serve with purpose.”

Tim Short Auto Group provided a $500 award to each recipient to reinvest in their schools or departments.

“With our vision at the forefront, connecting the district and the community as one to grow greatness in all students, we're grateful for the Tim Short Auto Group for sponsoring $500 to each recipient,” Fithen said.

The Greatness in Service Awards recognized classified staff whose work often happens behind the scenes.

“These individuals may not always be in the spotlight, but their impact is felt every day,” Fithen said. “From transportation to food service, maintenance to office support, our school simply could not run without them.”

The Greatness in Teaching Awards honored educators who inspire students through both instruction and personal connection.

“These educators set high expectations and walk alongside students as they rise to meet them,” Fithen said.

The Greatness in Leadership Award is for school or district leaders who inspire excellence, lead with vision, and foster growth in others.

“We are deeply grateful for the work that each of you all do every single day pouring into your schools, departments, and in our district,” she said. “So thank you all.”
