State champ sign celebrates 2022 Cards

Not even the heat could diminish the Cardinal Pride shining near the GRC entrance Wednesday afternoon, June 25th.
School and district leaders, community members, coaches, and former players gathered to unveil the official sign on Boonesboro Road, honoring the 2022 George Rogers Clark Boys Basketball State Champions.
The new landmark announces to those entering our community that our GRC Cardinals, led by Coach Josh Cook, brought home the coveted KHSAA State Basketball Title.
The moment was a great reminder of the unity and pride our community shared on that championship day – and will always share with this incredible team. We love our Cards!
