Growing Greatness starts with how we train, support, and empower our educators.
Kindergarten through 4th Grade Leadership Teams are gathering at Central Office once each quarter to collaborate, plan, and align their instructional strategies.
During these sessions, team members refine common assessments, pacing guides, and shared instructional resources, from formative assessments to classroom activities.
The group also focuses on advancing key district initiatives, including Kagan structures and the Portrait of a Clark County Learner, as we brainstorm ways to create authentic, engaging learning experiences for all students.
“We provided allocated time for our teachers to share best practices and work together to strengthen instructional practices across all grade levels,” said Chief Academic Officer Kelly Fithen. “These focused sessions reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and instructional excellence.”
By giving our grade-level teacher leaders a scheduled session to combine their expertise and share ideas, we ensure that our elementary students receive consistent, high-quality instruction.
