First Jackson Street Bridge crossing since the rebuild

CCPS is honored to have been part of the celebration to dedicate the newly upgraded Jackson Street Bridge, a vital connection point for our community.

One of our new school buses, driven by the great Bill Rawlings, proudly carried a group of neighbors and community and school leaders across the bridge for its first official crossing, marking a meaningful moment for our community.

Located near three schools, the bridge’s reopening will greatly improve traffic flow, shorten bus routes, and provide safer access for families, students, and staff. A huge CCPS thank you to everyone who made this project possible.
