Honoring 9/11: Community comes together at GRC

The Clark County community came together outside GRC Friday to remember, honor and reflect on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy on its 25th anniversary.
Hosted by the GRC JROTC, the Patriot Day Ceremony honors those who laid down their lives on 9/11 and educates those who attend about the events of that day.
"I like to focus on the posiive side and things," said LTC Tom Krupp, JROTC instructor. "There has been so much good that has come out of the tragedy, helping us learn from what happened and make the U.S. a safer place.”
Dozens attended the event, including military representatives, first responders, and public officials.
“We have an amazing community,” said LTC Tom Krupp. "They are always in great support of the JROTC at GRC in everything we do."
